1 What were you doing before Eastern Pool Care

I worked in the hospitality industry early in my career and found a great satisfaction in clear communication that would enhance a client’s experience. I brought that to Pool Care, the job isn’t to clean, the job is to make sure the pool is always in a state to deliver a great client experience.

2What’s the one thing you decided early on that you’d always do differently?

It is equally important to me that we do a good job communicating as much as we do a good job cleaning. Pool care isn’t just about cleaning a pool, it is about working with the clients to ensure their pool is equipped to deliver on all the good times the client has planned.

3Where did you get started and what is still the same 20 years on?

I started small — a van, a handful of clients and a reputation built one pool at a time. It has been quite a few years now and the business has grown to quite a big team and the client list stretches across all parts of Sydney. But the one thing that hasn’t changed is the priority for client communication.
